Private label matcha and hojicha - How to order

3 Simple Steps to Create Your Private Brand Tea

Step1. Choose Your Packaging

Start by selecting the packaging style that matches your brand image. We offer flexible options such as tins and pouches in various sizes and finishes.

Why starting from choosing packaging?

In many markets, silver pull-top tins are a popular choice. However, this type of packaging requires specialized filling equipment, and not all producers are equipped to handle it. If packaging is a key priority for your brand, we recommend starting here and selecting a tea from producers who can support your desired packaging. On the other hand, if your priority is the tea itself—such as flavor profile, origin, or price—feel free to start from Step 2 and choose the tea first.

Labeling :
Labeling is optional. You may receive products as white label and apply your own labels, or send us your design and we can print and apply the labels for you. Design files should be provided as high-resolution PDF files, created using tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Canva.

Step2. Choose Your Tea

Next, choose the tea for your product. We can recommend suitable matcha or hojicha based on your business type, target market, and budget.

For matcha, we offer a wide selection sourced from regions across Japan, including Kyoto, Kagoshima, Shizuoka, Yame, Shimane, Sayama, and Miyazaki. We encourage you to try multiple samples and find the one that best matches your preference and brand concept.

Step3. Request a Quote

Once matcha/hojicha and package are determined, determine the number of units you want to order. We will provide a quotation.

If you agree with our quote, we will send an invoice. We accept credit card, wise and bank transfer. For matcha, once your payment is confirmed, we order that factory for production. The factory begins milling only after receiving your order to ensure the delivery of freshly ground matcha!

Depending on the season, the typical lead time for shipment is around three weeks. We use the most cost-effective carrier—UPS, FedEx, or DHL—to ship to your destination address.

 Silver Pull-Top Tin

As mentioned above, pull-top tins require specialized equipment, and not all producers are able to support this packaging type.

If you choose this option, it will be necessary to select matcha from producers who can accommodate pull-top tin filling.

Labels can be applied to the side and/or the top (lid) of the tin.

Other Tin Variations

This type of packaging uses a silver inner bag filled with matcha or hojicha, which is then placed inside the tin. Unlike pull-top tins, this format does not require specialized filling equipment, making it more flexible across different producers. Direct printing on the tin is also available, allowing for a clean and premium brand presentation.

Pouches

Pouches offer flexible options in terms of size (30g–100g), color, and overall style.

Labels can be applied to the surface of the pouch as an option, making it easy to customize for your brand.
